Can I use this without the smart functions? null

Hi Lucy, thank you for your question. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential needs to be connected to your home WiFi network to function. To setup the Smart Clock Essential you will need to download the Google Home App on your smartphone or tablet. Once setup you don't have to use the smart functions. You can mute the microphone and set the alarm manually with the buttons on top of the device.

It requires setting up with the Google Home account, the clock will not function without an Internet connection.
