• Yes, use the HotKey in the F6 position to turn the touchpad on.

• open lenovo vantage and update the BIOS. I had this issue for a very long time. It's lenovo, not windows, despite what anybody tells you. Lenovo is falling off. They were my #1 now they're just as good as dog toys.
