It sounds like what you have is a capacitive touch stylus. It has no active/digital function. You could use this capacitive touch stylus on the Lenovo Yoga 730-13 as a replacement for your finger. What you will not be able to experience with this capacitive touch stylus, is the Windows Ink/Write On The Screen active/digital pen capability that is contained within the screen of the Yoga 730-13. You will have more Write On Screen functionality by using a compatible active/digital pen with the Yoga 730-13.
