There are literally hundreds of computers available. They are like cars, the more u spend, the more and better options you get. If you are only using this for school (and specifically not gaming) you will require very little power. Regular school is mostly emails, productivity (word, excel), and video. Any machine in this price range will suffice. My opinion, put your hands on the keyboard. As that’s your most important interaction with your machine, you have to feel comfortable. Fortunately, the 730 has a great keyboard and is also backlit. This is the machine I picked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both are great configurations. Base your choice on the computing power you need to do the work you need to do and the system that has the features that help you do that work most efficiently. We recommend you check first with your school's web site for recommendations on computer configurations for the course of study you will be following, then check with the specific software publisher's web sites for the software you will need to use, for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say so, it is great for college students. I just bought mine but I already love it. Just make sure you get a software warranty as well because the warranty offered with this does not cover that and I had to fix a software problem for $70 the day I opened out the box because Best Buy does not tell you that you need it. You NEED it.
