- Answer Yes, but when shopping for one, be sure you specify that you need a microphone for a computer combination plug, since the plug can vary widely as to the connections. QuestionWhen the laptop is on tablet mode and the keyboard is completely on the flipside/behind the screen, do the ports still work? Do they remain active?

- Answer Hey, CuriousCarl. Yes, the ports still work just fine. What is deactivated by default when in tablet, tent, or stand mode, is the touchpad and keyboard to prevent unnecessary, accidental input.
