Hi, This Yoga 7i 2-in-1 does feature a backlit keyboard. While backlighting on the keyboard can drain battery life (time unplugged between charges), it has an insignificant impact on battery longevity and health. But yes, the internal battery can be swapped out should it need to be replaced. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions!
