If you find that the warranty is shorter than a year with the open-box item you receive, we recommend visiting this Lenovo Support webpage: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/servicerequest?ProblemType=/warranty/, selecting “Warranty start date update”, and supplying the respective purchase information for verification. As once given a proof of purchase, the support team should be able to set your manufacturer warranty start date to align with the date of purchase and the length of coverage to its respective duration.
