“What is the minimum distance the microwave can be installed above the range? The template said 13.3/4 inches, is this correct? We heard 18 inches also”

• that sort of depends on your backsplash and wall cabinets... standard is 18 inches but theres no real height, except that you dont want it too down because it might interfere with you pot and cooking and the heat

• Honestly I didn't use the template. I measured the holes on the top of the microwave and transferred them over
