QuestionMine is only 3 years old, and everything run except heat. In the past that symptom happened 3 times , and it was reset by unplug and plug in and it worked, and this time there’s no heat defitively. I see the megatron is of 10 years warranty .

QuestionIf I wanted to cook an item for 2 minutes and 19 seconds could I enter that cooking time on this microwave? Or is this microwave one where you push 1 and it cooks for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc.

- Answer It comes on automatically and stays on the entire time of the cooking. Note, however, that the interior of this unit is dark, not white, so it can be difficult to make out much while it is running (I noticed other microwaves with dark interiors -- I don't know why this is done, it doesn't make sense to me).

QuestionDoes this replace Lg LMH2916st? Mine (model above) no longer works and I’m seeking a replacement. My existing micro also has a vent that extends out over the stove.this is a separate item, right? Or do I need a model that includes the vent?

QuestionI purchased the LG 2.0 cu. ft. Model # LMV2031ST. I have a 6" round roof vent and 26 gauge pipe installed. Do you sell a transition accessory kit for this? What gauge metal is it made from? If not, where would I find the correct adapter for it?

QuestionCan this unit be vented with 4” duct vent without compromising its performance?

- Answer Hi Mike. The recommended ducting for the LG 2.0 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV2031ST is 3 1/4" x 10" and you have to transition to rectangular or rigid 6" round ducting. Transitioning it down to 4" is creating a type of restriction because you will be reducing the capacity by 2/3rds and that will affect the performance. The blower needs all the help it can get to exhaust the air. The unit cannot be ducted into a common duct work. Round ducts should be a minimum of 6"...^IFV

- Answer No, it is designed for over the range. Was the underneath light left on? It gets extremely hot inside and out.

- Answer Yes you can vent from the back, it has the instructions in the user manual to configure it as such. Go to LGs site and download a copy if it if it isn't here at the best buy site.

QuestionCan this microwave be installed flush with the upper cabinets (mine are 16 inches from wall, including doors) or is there a vent or something in the top that would require it being moved out further than the cabinet faces?

- Answer It can be mounted flush with the upper cabinet. There are three venting options and it's easy set it to what you prefer. Mine came top vented, and I switched it to rear vented. You just need to remove a few screws and change the blower orientation and screw it back in place. The third option is to set it to vent thru vents on the top front.
