Can you use timer and cook at the same time null

Yes. Both at same time is not an issue.

Yes, you can use them both but you will only see the cook time. A few things about this MW. If you are under 5' 9", don't buy this MW. Even at that height, it's very difficult to see into the cabinet because the small area that is exposed is very dark. Also, the "ding" is very loud and though there is an adjustment, it is only for On/Off, nothing in between. We originally purchased a GE unit because that's what we had for 13 years and it worked perfectly until, it didn't. The new GE fan made a loud whiring, almost whistling sound. The installer said that since most MW's are only made by 3 manufacturers and given different names, the same will happen with most replacements, except the LG. That's the only reason we exchanged the GE for the LG. Good luck!

Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV2031ST has a Timer touch control on the control panel that starts the kitchen timer when touched.You can use the Timer for timing up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds. The Timer does not start or stop the Cook Time...^IFV
