No, rather, the vents on the bottom are intake vents for the items on the stove. The unit can be adjusted to vent from the rear through duct work in the wall or from the top front. The blower needs to be manually adjusted with the appropriate vent parts redirecting and/or closing the respective openings.

Air is drawn in from below and blows out above the door.
