When I turn off my LG soundbar it says Goodbye on the readout screen. Then if I leave and come back later it is on and the readout screen says Opt? Is mine broken? I have it hooked up with optical cable and it also will connect to bluetooth built in TV. null

Sounds like unfortunately yours might be a faulty unit as I dont have the same problem

This just means your optical cable is hooked up and that the sound bar is using that for its default connection.

opt just means that it is connected through the optical cable. if you have it hooked up with your tv, it will turn off and on with your tv. no need to turn it off with the remote for it. there is nothing wrong with the sound bar
