“When you pause the TV for awhile will the sound bar turn off, and then automatically turn on again when you un-pause?”

• Auto Power On/Off automatically turns on by an input source: Optical, LG TV or Bluetooth. After the unit is turned on by AUTO POWER function, it will be automatically turned off if there is no signal for a certain period of time from the external device. ^Daphane

• I dont think it works like that... i may be wrong... i know definitely when you power off the TV the soundbar and sub woofer will go to sleep as indicated on the soundbar and the sub woofer LED goes red...
