If the tv is an LG, then you can pair it with the tv remote.

Regrettably, we are not familiar with what the x! remote is and cannot determine if the LG 2.1-Channel 300W Soundbar System with 6" Subwoofer - Black, Model # SL4Y will work with it. Check the owner's manual for your x! remote to see if it gives codes that you would need to operate Soundbars from different manufacturer's. If it can control Soundbars from different manufacturers, the different brands of Soundbars will be listed in its manual with codes and instructions on how to program the remote to control the listed Soundbar manufacturers...^IFV
