• The LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming has an Optical Digital Audio Input that can be connected to any TV that has an Optical Digital Audio Output regardless of whether the TV is a "Smart TV" or not. We would need to know what audio outputs a non-smart TV has to advise on any other work around to connect it to the Soundbar...^IFV

• No it wont work unless you have TV connected to stereo with optical, Sound bar only has optical input or Bluetooth.
