Ft. 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0817WSR is specifically designed to the products specifications and it cannot be lengthened, modified or replaced with your own hose as that would cause the unit to malfunction. The exhaust vent hose has a diameter of 5" and a length of 5 feet...^IFV
