- Answer The Window Installation Kit that is supplied with the LG 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0817WSR is designed for installation in Vertical-Sliding windows that have a width of 18" to 50" and in Horizontal-Sliding windows that have a heigh of 18" to 50". It will not work in crank-style windows...^IFV

- Answer Hello Bbennett. Like all of our other Portable Air Conditioners, the exhaust vent hose for this LG 200.2 Sq. Ft. 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0817WSR is specifically designed to the products specifications and it cannot be lengthened, modified or replaced with your own hose as that would cause the unit to malfunction. The exhaust vent hose has a diameter of 5" and a length of 5 feet...^IFV
