Hi, Work, watch and play in Full High Definition. LG’s 22 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) VA monitor portrays true color, bringing a clear view to your work and lifelike scenes to games, movies, shows and videos. From sharp imagery to bright color, watch your ideas come to life in Full High Res Definition. This is a good resolution. ^Vanessa

As a result, you will need to go to "Settings" and select "Display," and then select "125%" for the "Scale." This will make the icons and text the size they are supposed to be. But, this brings out the problem with using the inferior technology of a "6-Bit Panel" that LG does. I'm referring to the fact that LG, like most manufacturers today, has decided to use the watered-down inferior technology called "6-Bit plus FRC" rather than using the superior technology of "True 8-Bit" for the panel. As a result, when there are certain combinations of black text on a white background in things such as My Documents or in a Word document, you will see a type of "rainbow effect" around the text. There will be like a pinkish/purple type of color that is noticeable. I don't recommend this TV. It is a VA panel that is a textbook example of how "the moment you are off center, the poor viewing angle causes the colors to be seen incorrectly." Also, it is disturbing the way Best Buy shows this TV as selling for "79" and saying it is "$80 Off." When you visit the LG website, you see the everyday price of this monitor is $79. Best Buy does this with a lot of their products, especially with LG and Sony.
