• The sides are gray textured material, much like ordinary refrigerators. Magnets do stick to the side but do not stick to the doors.

• The sides are dark grey, not stainless steel. We were surprised to find that the sides are magnetic but the "stainless steel" front is not. We are still working on the best way to keep it clean.
