Can this unit be placed in the garage? null

No reason I can think of, unless it gets really hot. But, that would be true of any fridge.

We've had the unit for about three months and it is located in garage and is doing well. We're in the San Francisco Bay Area so winters are mild. If the garage gets close to freezing I probably wouldn't put it there.
