• Yes and yes. HOWEVER; use some common sense. This is an electrical devise. It is not battery operated. Meaning the electrical shock potential due to dampness is significant! If it can be placed in an area away from water and you can control the humidity of the bathroom (dehumidifier) I believe that it could be safely used in a bathroom.
