Q: QuestionIs there supposed to be a spray arm on the top of this dishwasher above the utensil rack, or is it now an armless sprayer instead? My old LG dishwasher had an actual spray arm located there. This new one does not have one. Just curious.

• A:Answer Yes this unit does have a sprayer at the bottom of the rack. However, it is not the older model with the spray arms the sprayer mount is smaller and round to prevent food and rust getting stuck in them. This a feature to have less maintenance and an effective dishwashing cycle every time .^Tanisha

Q: QuestionIs the third rack removable? In other words, can you take it out when not needed and put back in when needed?

• A:Answer Yes. But you can just leave it in too. I’ve only used mine once so far. At first the taller glasses wouldn’t fit with the 3rd rack in, but all I did was lower the 2nd rack one level, and now they fit without having to take the top rack out.

• A:Answer This efficient drying system does not use a heating element during the drying process resulting in superior energy efficiency and gentle care for dishes. It is to use a liquid rinse aid improves drying performance by allowing water to drain off of dishes after final rinse. Use the upper rack for small or delicate items such as small plates, cups, saucers, glasses, and dishwasher-safe plastic items. In general, do not wash plastic items unless they are marked "dishwasher safe" or the equivalent. For plastic items not so marked, check the manufacturer’s recommendations. ^Daphane

• A:Answer The dishwasher will display an error code (AE) if a water leakage is detected. The dishwasher makes an alert sound for 10 seconds, and runs the drain pump intermittently. Q: QuestionIs there a certain thing that needs to be done in order to start this dishwasher? We hooked it up, loaded it, put it on the wash settings, put the rinse and detergent into it, and pushed start. We keep getting an IE error.

Q: QuestionI recently bought and got this installed. I did my first wash last night & noticed it did not clean cups in the middle rack well at all and some food were also still stuck on plates. I set it to normal cycle ... Is there something I'm missing here?

• A:Answer You have to be sure the rack is pushed onto the water inlet on the back wall. You have to actually push the rack until it snaps into place. Otherwise, no, it won't clean.
