how quiet is this dishwasher null

Extremely quiet. We had a Bosch 500 series prior to this machine. This is quieter than the Bosch!!

This unit has LoDecibel™ Operation of 48dB. It is comparable to the same decibel as library noise which on average is around 40 decibels. This number can vary due to the installation as well as the home acoustics. ^Daphane

It is really quite. Once it starts you do not know it's on until it is done. It has a chime to let you know that it's done. You can shut the chime off. Cleans the dishes really good too. I do recommend it.
