I am trying to get it working with my ASUS C302CA. I have a j5create USB C to HDMI cable that Best Buy sold me. It is not working. I have had no difficulty operating from my Chromebook to an external projector using D-Sub.

There will be no issues with being able to use your keyboard and mouse although if using an external extra monitor, it is always easier to a buy and use and external keyboard as well as that's more comfortable to use.

Your Chromebook just has to have the right connectivity or you can use adapters to make the necessary connections and support plug and play.
