I connected my LG Monitor to my HP laptop via a display port. I also can choose HDMI connection. I can use both monitors or just the LG by itself. Ensure that your graphics card can handle two monitors. My mouse works fine on both; and I have attached a keyboard. If you want to use your monitor and laptop as two separate screens, make sure in system settings, display, multiple displays, select "Extend these settings."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! I have 2 monitors and I can create 3 different views or choose to mirror the laptop screen on 1 monitor or both. I have a Windows system that makes the mirroring process pretty slick
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor does not have a dual controller feature, so I'm not sure it will work even as with extended settings. Please reach out to our support team via private message on Facebook @LGUSSupport or call at 800-243-0000. Please be sure to provide your contact information, model/serial numbers and date of purchase. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, perfectly. I have both my laptop and desktop connected to hdmi 1 and 2. When I'm on input 1 I'm using it as a second monitor for my laptop. On hdmi 2 it works as a second monitor for my desktop. the only pain for me (which you wont have to deal with) is having to switch the monitor inputs manually from my desktop to laptop. What you're looking to do will work just fine...hope this helped.
