When I connect the cable to my laptop the monitor says to click OK - how do I click OK? I cant get the monitor display to work. Any ideas? null

Look for the LG emblem at the bottom of the monitor. Reach behind the emblem and you will feel a button. Push it in to turn the monitor on/off. Move it forward, back, left, or right to show various display options.

There is a small joystick just underneath the center bottom of the display. It moves in all four directions and can also be pressed upward in the direction of the display itself, which generates the click action. Sort of like an L3/R3 press on a game controller.
