  • QuestionBestBuy's title for this model LRSWS2806S refrigerator states that it is a "Smart" fridge, but the specs say that there's no app support. Is this a Smart fridge with Wifi or not?

    • Answer Well, after receiving the reply from LG that this fridge IS a Smart fridge that connects to Wifi I went ahead and bought it. Wasn't I surprised to find out that they lied to me and it does NOT connect to Wifi. Unbelievably poor customer support from a "supposedly" reputable company. If you're looking for a Smart fridge, keep looking. This one isn't for you.

  • QuestionI have been shopping around for this product and a protection plan. Most of the plans state after the manufacture warranty coverage begins but I cannot find how long is the manufactures warranty and what does LG cover?

The manufacturer's warranty coverage is as follows: labor and parts are covered for 1 year (internal/functional parts only). Additionally, there is extended coverage for the sealed system (condenser, dryer, connecting tube, and evaporator) for 5 years on both parts and labor. The compressor (linear/inverter) is covered for 10 years on parts and 5 years on labor. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship.
