“I have a LG washer and dryer LGWM2233HU. I would like to get 2 pedestals that fit both. I know the model is now discontinued. The current compatible number is WDP4 V, K, W., or R . I want to know if WDP5V is compatible for both washer and dryer?”

The letters at the end of the model numbers for your washer, the LG XL Capacity (4.0 cu.ft. IEC) Front Load Washer, Model # WM2233HU any of the LG Laundry Pedestals are suffixes noting the color (i,e. V-Graphite Steel, K-Black Stainless Steel, W-White, R-Cherry red etc.,) Your washer has a width of 27" and its compatible LG Laundry Pedestal was the 27" Pedestal, Model # WDP3U. That color is no longer available and the WDP3* was replaced with the 27" LG Laundry Pedestal, Model # WDP4* which has the same dimensions and will be compatible with both your washer and its matching dryer, Model # DLE3733* (Electric Dryer) or Model # DLG3744* (Gas Dryer). The WDP5* is designed for washers and dryers that have a width of 29" and is not compatible with your washer and dryer...^IFV
