How do you intend to get your channels, through cable or through an antenna? The LG 32 inch Class 720p Smart HD TV (31.5'' Diag), Model # 32LM570BPUA has three built-in tuners, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner and a QAM tuner. It also features an F-Type 75-Ohm, Coaxial connector in the back that you can connect an internal or external antenna or cable Set-Top box to. If connecting an antenna, you do not need a converter box. The built-in ATSC tuner allows for the reception of Over-the-Air TV broadcasts and you can automatically or manually scan for available channels. If you dont have cable and like tv network and other broadcast channels, then no--you just have to scan/program the channels into the tv using your remote. Suscriptions will require an additional device. BB should be able to help.
