“How do I turn the sound off when the screen powers down or anytime the settings button is toggled. There is not option to turn it off do I just have to listen to it beep every time the monitor powers down?”

• Beeping is, some times, annoying. But you can revoke the annoying audio. I have 2 similar monitors functioning as Security monitors. Imagine the beeping on all moving items being monitored! My monitor doesn’t, which means your monitors can also be silenced. You didn’t mention, if the monitor was beeping or the device ( MBA/MBP/ MAC Mini/ iMAC/Windows10) was beeping. In any case you can silence the annunciation on any one the devices mentioned above.
