Make sure you have it hooked up right, and make sure you have good connections at the speakers as well as the receiver. I had this issue with mine at first but i didn't have good connections.

We understand your situation regarding your LG SQC4R Sound Bar and the issue with the rear speakers not producing sound. Based on our official LG troubleshooting guidelines, one step you can try is to verify that the wireless receiver is properly connected to the sound bar. Please check that the receiver is connected to the power supply and that its LED indicator shows a solid green light; if it’s blinking green or solid red, this may indicate a connection issue. Additionally, please ensure that all speaker wires are correctly inserted into their respective terminals on both the receiver and the rear speakers—confirm that the wire marked black is connected to the terminal marked “–” and that the matching color wires are securely in place.
