I have the washer to the right of the dryer. The door of the washer swings to the left (ie towards the dryer). Annoying that you have to lift cloths over the door to put into dryer. Am wondering if I can switch and make door swing to the right? I've called LG and they said no on washer but yes on dryer. Just wondering if anyone can been successful on switch the door swing operation. I can always just switch the washer and dryer positions but that involves a larger project in routing the vent for dryer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The washer door opens by pulling door to left the washer door can't be moved but dryer door can
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's kinda a bummer actually it opens from left to right. The dryer opens from right to left. It's pretty random I was wondering if there was a right to left washer after it was delivered but never looked into it.The washer door cannot be flipped. The dryer door might be able to flip I haven't tried yet. It's only a issue if you stack them, like I did. Or want the dryer on the left and the washer on the right, then the doors would be in the way. By the way if you want to stack them make sure to buy a stacking kit (not included) also apparently dryers don't come with electric cords? lol I Learn new things everyday.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.washer right to left (open on right) and it cannot be changed :-( Dryer is the opposite but it can be switched (dryer only). This is no big deal if you have them side by side with washer on the left, but I stacked mine and had no idea the washer door could not be flipped. Now my door opens next to the wall, which while is not the end of the world it is an awkward setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set the door in which ever way you want it to swing....left or right.
