“Is there a separate water line for the steam feature? Can I skip the steam option and not hook it up? This is for a 30 year old vacation condo and we don't need a steam washer/dryer. We don't even have an iron or a hair brush at the beach! Thanks.”

A "Y" adapter is provided so the cold water supply can feed both the washer and the dryer. The only other item needed to connect water to the dryer is a hose. Hose kits are available for situations with steam dryers. I don't know if not connecting the water supply to the dryer would cause a problem or not; or if it might impact the warranty. So many dryers have steam now, I'd say it would be a shame to decide to limit your choices to non-steam dryers when all it takes is one additional hose to connect it as designed, even if you never use the steam feature.
