“I just purchased this item a month ago & have already exchanged the washer once. The reason for the exchange was because at the beginning & middle of the load it is making a compressor clacking sound which is really loud. Anyone else have this problem?”

Check with wife and neither of us has experienced anything like that. My comment is that with just two of us in the house we now have to wait till we get a very large load of clothes before using the washer. I don't think it likes smaller loads but not a problem as we seem to have a lot of clothes for each cycle.
