No they do not come out hot when the cycle is done because the rinse cycle is done in cold water.

Regardless of what wash temperature you select for your preferred wash cycle on the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient/ ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Front Load Washer in Black Steel, Model # WM4000HBA, the lst cycle is the Rinse cycle and all rinses in the washer use unheated cold water so your clothes will not come out hot when the wash cycle ends.
If your clothes are coming out hot no matter what temperature setting you select for a wash cycle and the hot and cold water lines are connected correctly, there is a variety of causes that could be the culprit ranging from a malfunctioning or damaged sensor, a faulty water inlet valve, a malfunctioning thermostat, or a faulty mixing valve.
The most common cause for the clothes coming out hot after a wash cycle is the hot and cold water lines arev hooked up backwards, or the hot and cold taps are labeled incorrectly...^Ivan.
