“Can the amazon echo dot (3rd gen.) work on this tv (LG 43UM6910PUA)?”

• The box for the LG 43UM6910PUA and the specs do NOT show support for Alexa. However this TV is compatible with Alexa and Echo Dot. I was not able to get Alexa to discover my TV device until I realized that there are two separate LG apps 1. the "Set Up TV for the Alexa - LG TV Plus" app and 2. the "LG ThinQ" app. It's not a simple process and instructions don't mention the TV Plus app. It's also necessary to update the TV to WebOS 4 and I think registration of the TV via the LG ThinQ app is also required. I'm now happily using an Echo Dot with Alexa for voice control of our new bedroom TV.
