you have to go into the main setting menu and not the one that shows down the right hand side of the tv. It is confusing and it took me a little while to get there. I will post some pictures later if you still having problems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sometimes it is the cable box remote. Look at your cable box remote and look under the number 9. It should say aspect or have a # sign, press the button and see if this solves your problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did as you suggested, Anonymous, thank you. I went into “Settings”, then “Aspect Ratio”. It seems my only option to get the full picture on the screen is “All Direction Zoom”, which gives me the issue of the whole picture not being on the screen, or ”16.9”, which gives me gray bars on each side of the screen. Any thoughts?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a common question and one that tech support could not answer. hit your home button then the settings button from there select picture then aspect ratio then just scan. it will give you the option of on /off/auto. just turn it to off and it will allow your screen to fit

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1) Go to settings (Gear Icon) 2)Click on the Bottom icon that looks like Three Dots ... (All Settings) 3)Select Magenta color Picture icon by pressing the right arrow key 4) Directly Below the Aspect Ratio is a setting called Just Scan--the default setting is Auto, turn that to "On" and it should put it into perspective
