• It does run 4K but it will also upscale non 4K items. Example: I have non 4K bluray but the picture is SO MUCH BETTER with this TV.

• This TV does offer 4K for video presented in 4K. It also features 4K upscaling. The process of upscaling increases the pixel count of a lower-resolution image, allowing a picture meant for a screen with fewer pixels to fit a screen with many more. ^CP
