This is a 4K TV but uses the RGBW pixel structure. I am likely buying this TV as I like LG IPS TV's IPS allows for a wider field of view without losing image quality from the side.. I have a 43UH6100 from last year. The performance is great. The menus allow for fine tuning and it uses RGBW. I am pretty fussy about correct color on my TV's. I see no problem with RGBW. But there have been some complaining about LG TV's that say they don't show dark blacks because of the IPS panels. Doesn't seem that way to me. RGBW potentially allows for a brighter image with less energy consumption which is a plus to me..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a 4k capable TV ..It's a true 8.2 million pixels real 4k TV...
