Easiest way to do YouTube is to go in settings on the TV and get the passcode to link your phone's YouTube app. The built-in Wi-Fi receiver isn't the best on the TV, but it will work. I've managed to screen-share my laptop on several occasions to view pics, movies, Pandora, and other music. For a budget 4k, it's not gonna be the best, but it definitely does the job. I hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to purchase an hdmi wireless dongle ($50) for the TV in order to connect my PC to this TV wirelessly. PC is Microsoft Windows 10 - use settings "Project" > connect to a wireless display > click the link to the TV when it is found. The process also works with Windows 7 , 8. When the PC tries to connect to the TV the TV tries to get you to refuse the connection, just do nothing for a minute and the TV will connect. I use it to watch youtube on the TV from my easy chair with my computer in my lap. It will be similar with a phone. Ask your TV geek at BestBuy for details. Also, there may be a bluetooth alternative connection for the phone?
