Does a LG model #43UJ6300, 43" need a sound bar? null

The TV has speakers, but the soundbar and subwoofer we bought, Samsung HW-M450, much improves the sound. If you have a very small room it might not be necessary.

Not in my opinion....depends on the size of the room this device will be in. I have the TV is a 12x10 room and the sound is more than ample. I would buy the TV without sound bar and try it....you can always add a sound bar

It's doesn't "need" it but I'd recommend it as I would with any flat screen tv. Picture quality is amazing, sound is adequate but add a sound bar and you've got a great system.
