“How do I change the start screen? When I power-on, it shows channel 2 and the menu of apps. However, I do not have broadcast channel reception in my valley so channel 2 is fuzz and noise. How can I start the TV without fuzz and noise? Thanks. Just a dude”

Do a Scan for channels and it will temporarily forget ALL channels AND inputs that do not have a picture. **Before you do your scan for channels make sure you are scanning ALL possibilities, Cable, Antenna, and anything else. (I had 4) **Also make sure any input you are using has its (whatever) hooked up and turned on (has a pic) so it gets picked up by the scan. You should be all good.
