• Hey there, to answer your question the width of space where the feet/legs sit is about 33 1/2 inches apart (including feet and the gap between them) so I would recommend a 36” shelf or above . Hope that helps. Have a nice day!

• Yes, most definitely. Ours is only 19" wide and fits with plenty of space. The width of the stand/legs is 8-1/2".
