I'm not 100% sure if the answer to you question is yes. But, i can say that at that point of my setting up of this television, I read through the info that pertained to that which I was being coaxed into checking off & agreeing to but did not check any of the boxes other than terms of use and was able to proceed past that step in doing so. So I believe that you can.

While the webOS platform does offer convenient features such as voice search, it is entirely optional to use the voice assistant. If you'd like to use the TV without the voice command feature, you can simply refrain from enabling or using the voice search function. Additionally, webOS allows you to control privacy settings, so you can limit data collection and usage for personalization. These settings are accessible in the TV’s menu under "Privacy & Security." Rest assured, you can enjoy the internet and streaming features without using the voice assistant or compromising your privacy. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-43-class-ut70-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2024/6593577.p?skuId=6593577 For more detailed assistance on setting up the TV while maintaining your privacy preferences, feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we will be happy to guide you through the process.
