Thank you for your interest in the LG 49" Curved UltraWide™ DQHD Nano IPS 144Hz HDR 400 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatible (49WQ95C-W) mode. Yes, the LG 49WQ95C-W.AUS ultra-wide monitor is compatible with the MacBook Air M2 and its split-screen feature can be used. Though the MacBook Air M2 is designed to support only one external display, some users have connected multiple displays using adapters. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-49WQ95C-W.AUS. ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an M1 Max Macbook Pro with a 49" ultrawide connected to it. It would work as one large display which in my case is fine as I just move the windows where I want them and do not have a bezel or line going through it. You would need a "docking station" that contains an HDMI port. You can then connect that to an HDMI input on the display and run another from the HDMI port in the Macbook to another input. Then enable PBP to pull from both inputs. I tried this and was not a fan and just moved to using the entire thing as one giant display. Thing is, Macs suck for extended displays and it will limit anything to 60Hz which is not great for gaming but ok for productivity work.
