Can I put it on a pedestal ? null

I'm about 5' 3" and I can hardly reach the bottom to pull clothes out without falling in.

Due to back surgery, I use a long metal tongs to reach the clothes at the bottom. Works great!!

No, I don't think so. If it was on a pedestal, it would be too high to reach in to remove clothing from the bottom.
