• There is a download option to which you can create your own custom cycles. But cycles really just change everything listed on the front of the unit. Temp, spin speed, soil(how wet does it get), time, steam

• The wash cycles are designed for specific types of wash loads. Its recommended that you select the cycle that best matches the load contents for maximum wash performance and fabric care. Each cycle has a default preset and select cycle settings that can be modified for wash temperature, soil level and spin speed. ^Daphane
