• No it is not too loud. Ours is next to our bedroom. Very poor cleaning, though. I would not recommend it for that reason.

• This unit features LoDecibel™ Quiet Operation which, even though we do not have an exact decibel number, we do say they are around the same decibel as library noise which on average is around 40 decibels. This number can vary due to the installation as well as the home acoustics. ^CP
