“Has anyone tried turning the machine OFF in order to soak for longer times (sometimes i need overnight!) ?? I was told this should be fine; just when i turn back on it will drain immediately. ?”

If there is any water remaining in the tub after the washer shuts off, it will drain following 4 minutes delay. All functions will be suspended until the water has been completely drained and the washer shuts off. ^CP
