• I don't feel like you need to. We leave the lid open after a load and let it air out a bit and that is plenty. We have not had any odor issues like we did with our old front loader.

• After the cycle is finished, wipe the lid (door) and the inside of the lid (door) seal to remove any moisture. Leave the lid (door) open to dry the tub interior. Wipe the body of the washer with a dry cloth to remove any moisture. ^CP
